So I just installed the old hitch from my '10, on my '13. I modified it similar to STINGS. I welded a bar between the rear two contact points. I only drilled one hole in it though, a hole that lines up to the single portal hole between the two you put bolts through. And I used a bunch of washers and a fair amount of marine adhesive to make sure my hitch is good and solid. Tomorrow I'll drive 40 miles with the bikes and see how it goes. Should be at least as solid as it was in the 2010, with the sketchy included mounting hardware.

To anyone interested, my lease is up so I'm selling the hitch. I won't be buying another car for a while, going with an SUV for a few years. All my pics in this thread have broke, but my hitch is modified to use all existing holes, so no metal drilling required. And it's a very firm fit. And of course it's a 2" receiver that comes through the bumper instead of under it.
