I bought the hurst exhaust which is the same setup with hurst branding on the tips. I got it from a seller on eBay and it came straight from the manufacturer.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hurst-Elite...wAAOSwA1patUXR Sounds amazing with the borla midpipe/cat delete. |

I think I am going to wait and talk to some people at Camaro Superfest in Michigan at the end of the month. That way I can hear it also.

That or either of the Borla offerings, ATAK or S-Type, guaranteed drone free.
I do miss my Borla ATAK, which was stolen from my garage when i had taken it off and switched to stock to get an exhaust ticket written off... but being i'm on a budget, i found a good deal on a flowmaster NPP axleback to replace what was stolen, and it sounds good with no drone that i can notice, even with the fuse pulled at highway speeds. its not as quiet inside the cabin as Borla's, but not unbearable by any means. it depends on your sensitivity to it i guess.

I love loud and was great at all levels before the headers. And it sounds great and even louder which is fine with me but the drone in 6th gear at highway speeds is crazy annoying. Not sure what I plan on doing yet. I have heard the Borla in person and it has more of a fabricated sound and not that deep exhaust note and rumble I love.

Just be aware tho, there is a substantial difference in build quility, which is noticeable by all the welds, the shitty black paint on the flowmasters that will come off with any kind of gentle abrasion, and the exposed NPP valve springs make me unfomfortable lol. And the valves do rattle a little when closed, but fugg it, you get what you pay for. As long as the valves dont stop opening and closing, i wont make a big deal to flowmaster... thats another thing i loved about Borla's modular design. If that valves fail, you just replace the valved tips and you're good, no need to replace the entire muffler just for a bad valve. Flowmaster's NPP kit is louder in my opinion than the Borla was a wide open throttle tho, but of course it should be since its basically a straight pipe.
