A Chevy dealer didn't like me...
So I was in this Chevy dealership and they had a Corvette there and it was $68,995. And I asked the salesman what is the horsepower and he brags. "it's 400 hp" and I said, why would someone pay 68K for a vette when they can get an SS with 426hp for like 40K. He then retorts its a vette, and I said for that kind of money I could get a ZL1 for 54K and it is over 600 hp. He then shut up and I could tell he didn't know his specs and was not happy with me and walked away. Just had to share this with you all.

That's great, kinda like the salesman that had to ask another salesman which Camaro had the V8. Yes, this was a Certified Chevrolet Dealership.
Also the same person giving me wholesale price for my old car, without even looking at it. If the website said $50,000, he probably would have gave me that without missing a beat. Needless to say I went to another dealership to get my Camaro. Some people.

If you've driven a newer Corvette, the feel is entirely different from the Camaro. I had a C6 from Hertz for almost a week and enjoyed every second of it. |

Since I don't own a ZL1 I was guesstimating it. My bad.

When I was checking out a 45th anniversary model at a local dealer the salesman told me that they were a limited run and some dealerships wouldn't be able to get one. Matter of fact, he said, the one I was looking at could very well be the only one they'd get.
He then tried to pump the price because it was so special.

They are rated at 430 HP.
A salesman like this guy... should stick to selling Chevy Spark. He should leave the Vetts to to a more knowledgeable sales person. LoL |

What amazes me about salesmen is that they don't know the specs on their product line when the amount of info is less than what a waitress in a decent restaurant has to know about the menu. I have known salesmen who could tell you the specs on any carline they had sold in the last 20 years, and salesmen who don't know the time 2 seconds after they checked their watch.
