Amazing Pilot. Best emergency landing I've ever seen.

Wow. That was some nice work there. And how tough is the underside of that plane? I was expecting it to go up in flames at any moment

I could do that.......

Aww who am I kidding? But I did pull off a perfect parallel parking job today. 3 inches from the curb, perfectly parallel, perfectly centered in between both cars, in just one smooth motion. And you just know that makes you feel like a true man.

Awesome job. I don't know if you guys remember...a while back there was a plane scare. I think that people thought there was a bomb on the plane or something...maybe not. But it was a 737 if I remember right, and the pilot circled the airport as many times as he could untill nighttime so he could burn up some fuel before he landed. Reason: The landing gear was broken. It came out, but not all the way/correctly, so he landed with the front tire perpendicular to the tarmac. The minute he landed, the tire just exploded, and I think the plane fell on it's nose...but nobody was hurt, and no flames.

Parrallel parking: Aced it on my first try. :p

I can e-brake park. Took me about 40 tries with some cones before I mastered it.

That would really suck to be in that situation, he kept his directional control perfect and set it down so light that there can't be too much in actual damage to the airplane. I can't imagine what the sound of a several million dollar airplane silding downt the runway would be like. Good thing he had a long way and didn't run out. The fuel is stored in the wingtips outside of each engine and was pretty safe from the bottom which is just aluminum riveted to bulkheads but I am still surprised it didn't throw more sparks.

That was a jetblue flight but it happens somewhat often...not a huge safty concern, just a ruined front strut and they usually don't even collapse. (last one was two months ago in Fargo, ND) -Not often I get to comment on the fourms and actually use my degree in aviation...

That was beautiful. I would have been doing cartwheels coming out of that plane. They just take their time..."lemme grab my stuff.." hehehe...Yeah. I was suprised there weren't more sparks.

The last thing anybody is worrying about is the cost of the airplane.. Amazing landing I might add..

I would guess the video soesn't do the pilot justice. Meaning he made it look so easy that the amazingness of the landing kinda goes unnoticed. If I watched the vid without knowing what the deal was, I'd assume it was a normal landing. lol

Props to this guy. (pun intended)
