Going to either stage 4 or custom BTR grind for max effort. Motor is being forged and I’m maxing out my blower.

Awesome, I installed the stage 3 btr cam this year. best upgrade of anything I've done so far. love the lope! are you going for more lope with stage 4. just curious. the reason I asked I lost some boost with the stage 3 cam. because of the valve overlap (exhaust valve is still open when the intake opens) but the trade off is worth it ( nice lope). anyway the stage 4 cam I would think is more overlap. are you just turning up the boost to compensate for lost boost with stage 4 cam. I'm going to a cog drive. I'm at 6lbs the cog drive should put me at 10lbs.

I love the cam! I was hesitant to even change it to be honest.. We are going for max blower rotation about 24-25k RPM which should put us around 18psi. With that being said we are looking for the stage 4 to pickup on the top end. Trying to cover all bases to achieve a true max effort setup.

I have the BTR stage 3 pd lsa cam and the LSA is 120* that pretty much is zero overlap, actually I think it's -.5* What cam did you get? The loss in boost means your engine is breathing better. Boost is a measure of resistance.
