Oh okay I was just wondering because I'm using C16 and 93 with no problems. Plugs looks okay. But then again I'm forged so I guess the extra protection won't hurt

Plugs looked good for us as well - just kind of going with that line of thinking -I had atleast 50+ passes on it when it was 200 through a plate system and at least 25 more with the direct port...want this thing to last for as long as possible

Safe to ask questions in here since we're talking nitrous or is this just for/about set ups only?
Not new to nitrous, just new to nitrous on these cars. Stock fuel pump ok for a wet shot of 150-200 horse? How far will a zl1 pump cover?
What about dry shots? Anyone running them? What size injectors are you stepping up to and how are you handling the factory computer knowing when to add the extra fuel?
Looking at starting out with a nitrous outlet plate kit, and supporting accessories (purge, heater, etc) but by the time I buy all that and a dedicated extra fuel system (if it's needed) an lsa swap starts to sound more feasible. Weighing out my options here.
If you'd rather not clutter here up with discussion I'll start a new thread.

I'd just run a wet shot with a dedicated fuel cell. If you run a dry shot you have to drive around on a nitrous tune all the time which will hurt your performance off nitrous.

The ideal way in my opinion is to do a wet shot with a dedicated fuel cell for race gas so that you can run 93 in your gas tank, and an Lnc2000 to pull timing. That way you can tune nitrous totally independently from your n/a tune and you're not driving around on your nitrous tune when you're not spraying. Also you will be able to use your stock injectors and fuel pump so you wouldn't even have to worry about the limits of the stock fueling system.

Idk what it's going to do quite yet as it isn't running yet. But I'm doing a 441 build....

12.9:1 compression
CNC LS3 heads
K1 4.125 crank
Molnar boost series rods
Wiseco 4.125 pistons
Custom grind cam 251/272 .624 .614 114+7
Fast 102 with race runners and Nick Williams 102
Doing a spray bar setup. Gonna start on a 200 shot and probably end on 3-400

TR6060 with triple disc clutch
3.91 28x10.5w

I'll post results when I get them

Am I reading that right? You're spraying 300 on a stock bottom end? I wanted to jump from 200 to 250 but was unsure.

I already have an engine tune by Steve @ RDP Powersports and I am thinking about get a NOS system installed and the engine tuned again. Install and tune by Steve no doubt. I have never owned a car or even been in a car with nitrous. What are the pros and cons of nitrous? I only drive my SS about 4K miles a year so it's not like a daily driver and I want a nitrous system that injects at WOT.

Looking for some advice on which system to look at and what's good and bad about nitrous.
