Track Day Brake Fluid?

Did you guys replace the fluid before your first track day?

In every other car I have tracked I replace the lines with steel and replace the fluid. This car has steel already and I would think a good fluid. Tempted to try it as is.

I don't take it easy, I have boiled lots of fluid in my Corvettes.

Castrol SRF. Also heard good things about Endless fluid, but never used.

I normal run Motul 660. Just thought maybe GM put something better in these. Guess I will flush it this weekend.

Another vote for Castrol SRF. I've boiled RBF600 numerous times, but I haven't tried 660. No issues with SRF though.

+1 I personally have and still use ATE Super Blue (now amber only), although I also stock Motul in the garage for other people's cars.

+2 = run SRF for many years in many different track cars and never had a single issue. It is expensive, but it works.

Never had a problem with the stock fluid 5 plus track days,
had it changed by the dealer one already
my thought that with the CCB Chevrolet already using the correct fluid

Haha! Definitely a bummer though. It looked cooler too! I had a quart or so left of the blue - enough for my clutch but not my most recent brake service. I think someone is selling three (3) sealed quarts on eBay for an absurd price lol.

Castrol SRF is the gold standard but Motul 600 or 660 works fine. There are other brands that have a cult following like TorqueRT700 which I have no experience using. Anything is better than stock DOT3 GM fluid. Anyone that uses stock fluid with success isn't driving the car to its abilities.
