I guess it is all relative to your skill/comfort level but pads are a pretty easy job.

So your saying that this brand here will provide minimum to no brake dust, and prevent Squeaking?

i only use brakemotive for my brakes.

They dust up, but their rotors and pad combo for the price is just amazing. After hard abuse with my old 4th gen, my rotors aren't warped, and i still have 60-70% pad left after 1 1/2 years.

I've used ceramic pads on my '93 Land Cruiser for years. The original rotors are on the vehicle. It now has over 340,000 miles on it. Front pads last about 25,000 miles and rears make it around 55,000 miles. I don't think ceramics cause much extra wear on the rotors with normal driving. Trying to use them on the track would be a different story.

I just installed StopTech street performance pads along with R1 slotted and dimpled rotors , no squeal and alot less brake dust. Loving this setup so far.

The Hawk HPS pads are super quiet and have decent stopping power for daily driving when compared to the stock brake pads. However, they do shed out a fair share of brake dust. Next time around, I will try the Hawk Ceramic version instead.

I think most people will tell you the opposite.. the HPS are annoyingly loud. I never had a squeak til I put them on lol

Next time I'll get the the ceramics for sure
