So I did it, 3d carbon side vents install

So I pulled the trigger. I purchased these 3-D carbon side vents about eight months ago. I had them painted and have been nervous about actually cutting into the side of my car. I did a lot of research on them and it did not seem that hard of an installation. My dad is really handy and I had confidence that he can do it. So I went over to his house today and it only took a couple hours. The lines came out perfect my dad did a great job. I am really happy that I did it. But it was nerve-racking watching my car being cut into.

Looks great!! These are definitely on my wish list, but like you I'm sure I will be nervous as hell about cutting into the car.

They look awesome, nicely done. I just ordered these for myself and have been toying with the idea of self install. 3 weeks to think about it.

Thanks! It was rough was watching it. I thanked I aged like 5 years in the process!

And don't think about to much. I wasted like 5 months to install these. Just do it!

Yep, simple process. Just trace and cut. The hardest part was keeping the wheel straight

Other than the template are specific instructions and did you use a cut off wheel?
