How do you folks feel about de-badging

I went to the local hardware store today to get some things for the honey due list. I come out to another 5th gen camaro (2012 I believe) next to mine and the owner is looking my car over. At first he said he liked the color (2015 old blue eyes) but than started to ridicule me for de-badging it. Said it took away the pride of owning a Camaro. Thanked him for his opinion and got in my car and left. Wow didn't think that kind of thing bothered folks.
I removed the Camaro from the fenders and the rear bow tie. I Plastidipped the front bow tie black. Should have asked him if he belonged to this forum.

I'll be pulling the gold bow ties eventually and going with white SS emblems to match the stripes.

Huge fan here. I've debaged every vehicle I've had since 1987.

I am a fan of it. Usually I had badges and stuff cluttering up a car. However I love the look on the Camaro. And I love to look and see it say CAMARO right across the fender. I think its one of the best features.

I've done some re-badging to give it a little different look. It all comes down to personal preference and regardless of which way you go there will always be 'haters'

Love the look. I only have aftermarket "1LE" badges on the front quarters, and a blacked out bowtie on the front grill.

I am proud that my car has Camaro on it and the Chevy Bow Tie! Also there are so many idiots around today that can’t spell Camaro, I like to remind them

As long as you don't up badge.
I am ok with taking badges off, changing style of badge or down badging or leaving badges alone.
