Jacking up a lowered car

I have bmr "1 lowering springs and a 1le splitter and that only gives about 5 inches of clearance in the front. Its almost impossible to get the jack under the front far enough back to reach the cross member. Is there a safe place to jack it up from the side to pull the front tires off?

You can either build some low ramps using 4-6 stager cut pieces of 1/2" plywood (i.e. building up from 1/2" to 2"-3" to raise the car high enough to get your jack under the car. Or you can do as many Corvette owners do and buy a low profile jack like this one from Harbor Freight:

I just back up onto a couple of 2x6. Makes for enough clearance to roll the jack under

This is your best option. I'm lowered a little more than an inch, along with 285/35 in front, which drops it another 1/2", then have Razzi side skirts which it looks like its about 3" from the ground.

Along with these guys, I have a set of Race Ramps that I can put under the back tires (backing up onto them). This gives me enough clearance to get the back jacked up, then getting the front is easy.

What I've done, as well as some of my buddies who are lowered, is we will put a piece of wood under the car and drive onto it and then jack the car up. Seems to work out alright so far.

I have this exact jack. It works fine for stock ride height/tires and the factory ground effects. However, there is only ~1/4" of clearance under the front. I plan to do a 1" drop this winter, and I don't think this jack will work for the front end anymore. Definitely gonna have to make some wooden mini-ramps for it. Not sure how that is going to work yet

rubber pad on low profile jack, jack on the scissor jack point behind the front tire. raise car enough to put a jackstand underneath subframe and then move jack under crossmember. never bought wood.

That Harbor Freight jack works well, but don’t pay $98 for it....frequently on sale for 79.99.....think I got mine for 73.99
