Dangit. I just put Anzo Halo Projects on my car a few months ago. Really prefer this look.

Yes, they are brighter than the stock headlights. BUT - the H9 bulb isn't a high/low beam. It only has one output level. The 'high beams' simply open up the flaps on the projector for a greater spread, but doesn't output more light.

If I had known that going it, I would have looked at a different headlight.

It's not terribly difficult though especially if you remove the front wheels or jack up the front end for extra clearance in the wheel well
