rear collision damage

anyone been hit in the rear bumper and had it repaired?mine was hit and still waiting for parts.3weeks now,this blows im sure GM would have made parts for repairs just wonder where they are

Since you were hit in the rear it's safe to say it is at the fault of someone else. Personally, I would go and get an SS rental car on their dime until your is fixed. Please send pics from the dragstrip.

I worked in G.M. parts depts for years and found whenever 'production parts' were needed they were often on backorder. They hate to pull parts for repair if they are needed on the assembly line. Heres a problem that a call to G.M. might get you the parts you need.

Went throught having to wait on parts when my Acadia had to get fixed. It was during the time when they were just released. It takes them awhile to built up enought to have parts on hand. Took about three weeks to get the front bumber and one other had been sitting for months.
