Flowmaster Scavenger X Pipe?
Hey guys,
Does anyone have the Flowmaster Scavenger x pipe installed? If so, did you guys see an increase in sound or power? |

I don't have the x-pipe but any xpipe in general will only give nominal gains as far as hp. It will make the car louder as it deletes the factory resonators and the compressed pipe near the rear axles. If you have an auto, consider turning off the AFM valves via HP Tuners. Hope this helps.

I have it, I love it! The car got much deep in the sound note which is really nice! As for power gains I can't attest to that as I didn't do a a dyno pull before or after but it did delete the secondary cats as stated. My car does run strong and when I start it and get on it all I can hear in my mind is Muhammad Ali and Drew Bundini Brown saying "Rumble young man rumble!" LL

Thank you for the replies everyone! Do you know if it will enhance the drone coming from the Flowmaster exhaust? Or will it typically stay the same since the car does not come with an actual resonator (like the suitcase ones that come in Mustangs).
