Mine doesn't fake neither flick nor shut off whatsover, they stay on all the time as long as I have the ambient lights on, or opened the driver side door.

Somewhere by the bottom right side of the gauges. Just a flat metal surface. I used an LEDGLOW MULTICOLOR from Amazon. It just has a positive + a negative and a control box to control if you want several colors. I just keep it at a solid. Once I close the doors, the light starts fading with the ABL/yellow wire under the traction control and.. It flickers at the end a bit and shuts off. However, it does turn on instantly. It's the shutting off that worries me that ends up flickering. Don't want to burn off that yellow/abl wire :(
