The big hold-up is that I need to figure out exactly how everything is and will be secured. If it is something that I will be able to do easily, then I will do it that way. I have not addressed the issue of price yet because I have not begun the work. I will have more info on that in the near future, I am going to do my best to get my hands on the parts next week. |

The new style "SS" with the mesh looks best imo, if you do that one you should do a matching "SS" to replace the bowtie in the back. And you should do it in red too for the SS/RS owners

I was thinking about this overnight and something dawned on me. What about the people who want the bowtie, but also want to keep their factory red or white SS symbols? Do you think that might be an option too?
The problem is, I don't know how you'd attach it to the new grilles you're proposing with the way they currently attach to the factory grille... Quote:
What ZZcamaro is doing is creating a piece that completely replaces the factory grille. This provides for a much cleaner look. |

hmmm... good point. ZZ... how do the rear ss badges attach to the deck lid, bolts or simply double sided tape? They may work as a replacement for those who want the bowtie and ss badge in the lower driver corner

What about an RS option ? Some of us don't have an SS & would like something other then the big old bowtie.
I love the grill by the way !

I am actually going to find out tomorrow how long it will take me to get some factory replacements shipped in. Once I know that, I will probably rip mine out and start on it this weekend.
I have some suppliers to contact tomorrow also...I hope to be able to get all my components here in the next week or so. I will post up some in process pictures, and have better price and delivery time estimates in the next couple of days. |

You should have both options open for those who dont have an SS Camaro. I like both mesh with the single bar across with the bow tie.
