Empty garage leaves empty feeling inside
Made the 3 hour drive south to drop my car off at Davenport Motorsports in Calgary today. I know it's in good hands and I hope this trip should put an end to this madness for me. Last spring I got there stage 4 upgrade which consisted of ....
Rotofab CAI Ported snout w/ 2.55 upper LPE balancer and 10% lower Kooks LT ceramic coated w/cat deletes MSD 8.5 plug wires and Kool soxs LPE AI cam ( subed for GT9 ) 63lb injectors Comp cams dual valve springs w/titanium locks and retainers I also added Rotofab big gulp Rotofab intercooler reservoir Cooler logic heat exchanger In September I went back for an 18% lower and retune. Discovered fuel pressure dropping over 5500 rpm and afr leaning out when retuning. I drove the car home to figure out my options. I ended up with a couple of other mods to add to my list ... ADM fuel system upgrade ID850 injectors LPE CNC ported heads w/LS9 valves Vmax LSA ported throttle body Line lock I'm just wondering what I'm missing. I just want to finish it and put an end to this madness!!! Any other suggestions..without tearing the engine down or changing the blower Islander lol |

I've noticed a lot of members here throw everything but the kitchen sink at their LSA's before they even think about getting a larger twin screw. Pretty sure there's more SS owners with 2.3L+'s chargers then there are ZL1 owners. A lot of them did the blower first and maybe head's and cam after a while if at all. I'm not trying to start a war, just an observation.
