Help - codes after headers / Solos

Just installed JBA shorties and Solo HFCs. Battery disconnected for 3 days during install.

After only a couple short drives getting a "service stabilitrak" light. Also CEL.

1. Mods unrelated to stabilitrak so why??

2. CEL wouldn't come on because of stabilitrak problem correct??

Going to go get codes readout.

Check for a cracked a spark plug?

It's a common problem after a header install. Reseat the spark plug wires on both ends. Check all sensors that you had to unplug for the install.

I would assume that you removed the plugs for the shorty install for more working room, butt it's worth checking at least.

This happened to me after my header install

#8 had a cracked spark plug, car was running like an old dog, but I changed my plugs and everything went away

Fixed hopefully for good.

Codes said bad engine data and misfire on 8. Some newbie idiot (ok it was me) didn't get 8 plug wire on right. Bad engine data rippled into ABS and stabilitrak which I thought was odd.

But in any case connected plug wire well and issue gone. Just disconnected battery to clear CEL and hopefully Solos won't cause one.
