If you had to ask the question then you know the answer.

So the colder weather showed the gross inadequacy of the original Goodyears. Put some BFG's on it a couple days ago, big difference. I thought lack of skill was the issue. I can feel what is happening now. Problem? I can't help wondering what fresh track tires on a track would feel like.
I really, really love this car! |

I don't mean to rag on the Goodyears. I may never have gotten them hot enough to see the full benefit. I put the BFG's to the test this morning. At .87g it didn't feel like they were at the limit but it did sound like they were. The difference I see is if the Goodyears started spinning while turning it would go right to the rev limiter and shut down. The BFG's spin a short distance and I feel it when they hook. In retrospect, I have put 6k miles on it with little progress on learning how to drive it. And now it's time to park it. Pretty sweet problem to have. |
