2 typhoons?

looking through the threads i see two different k&n typhoons...one has what looks to be a plastic or rubber elbow connecting the aluminum part of the intake to the throttle body..........the other has a one piece aluminum intake including the elbow at the throttle body...i suspect the first was the first run typhoons and the second is what they settled on.........the second one has the crank vent hose located farther downstream too... i think k&n is trying to save face after all the cel's with the 63 series.... any cel's with the typhoon???or typhoons that is

We haven't had any complaints on them. I still think you can find a better intake however. Look into a CAI or Roto-Fab system.
