Markets at Shrewsbury - Friday May 23rd 5-9 PM $1 donation per vehicle. I talked to a Camaro5 member today who has been to this car show and he said that they can get upto 500+ cars there and he said that it is a very cool show. We also talked about meeting up at the Freedom Armory Shooting range just north of the Markets at Shrewsbury and riding in together. We can meet at the shooting range about 4:15/4:30 ish. I know that this show is south of the York area so I understand that it may not be for everyone but if you can still make it I think it would be a lot fun.

LCBC Motosports Show & BBQ - Saturday June 14th 9AM-2PM Free Event. I attended this car show last year and it was a very good show and I believe there were 300+ cars. I meet another Camaro5 member there and there was even RC Airplane demonstrations in a neighboring field. There was a funny car dragster and a Big BBQ tent for some good eats. If anyone is familiar with the area around the Lancaster County Bible College where we could meet up just prior to the show it would nice to ride into together. I do remember last year they asked if you were part of a group and if you were not they put you by yourself and you were not allowed to move later to another area.

The wife and I are going to try and make it to the show on the 23rd. I get off at 4 so might not be able to meet and drive in with everyone.

Do we have to go in together or can we meet up there? I'm going to try to make it in time at freedom armory, but no guarantees with work obligations Friday.

Nope, there is no requirement to go in together I just suggested it to make things easier for us as a group. Either way it will good to see you there.

No problem, I suggested 4:15/4:30 ish at Freedom Armory but we don't have to leave right away since the Markets at Shrewsbury is only 5 minutes away. We can hang out for a little while and wait for others to arrive, besides the show starts at 5pm.

I go to the Shrewsbury show several times a year. The show is supposed to be from 5 until 9, but if the weather is nice, it will be hard to find a parking place after 4. There has been over 1,000 cars at this show before. A lot of the retirees get there at noon. It is a great show! I just want to warn you that it fills up quickly. You will probably have to park on the grass.

Agreed. I also go several times a year. It is a huge show and the older guys start rolling in around 12-1pm. The weather isn't looking too promising tomorrow. I'm not sure what will go on. It may be rained out again.

Well it is not looking good for me tomorrow. I am working later than I hoped. I think by the time I get out and up there everyone will be gone. Will have to try again at the next meet. Definitely want to make it up there.

Well it looks like the rain may hold off according to weather.com hourly forecast. It may turn out to be a fairly nice evening. Hope to see some of you at the Markets at Shrewsbury tonight.

Wow! The Markets at Shrewsbury was indeed very cool. I don't know exactly how many cars were there but there was a lot. The location for this show couldn't be better and I included a couple of pictures of the view from the top of the hill. And yes all those cars at the bottom of hill off in the distance are part of the show.

There was alot to see and I am sure there was a lot we missed too. We had five Camaro5 members there tonight and I believe we counted a total of 8 5th Gen Camaros at the show. This would be a good show to attend again.
