There is absolutely no way on earth a Hellcat out drives an AMG GT-R or 911 GT3 RS at the ‘Ring without a HUGE difference in driver ability. I didn’t watch the video, but the Hellcat lovers are free to post official lap times which I’m sure are easily beaten by a ZL-1 1LE let alone cars that the Corvette ZR1 tries to run with.

Here’s the Lightning Lap for comparison:

https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...ry-car-feature

The GT-R is 4th and the Hellcat is 85th.

The AMG GT-R is a Mercedes, not a Nissan. Its a world class sports car. Only a true fanboi would take an uglier worse performing car. Yeah I could have a Ferrari, but Id pick the Camaro

Sorry my mistake was thinking of the Nissan GTR didn't have time to open the link, I do like the Mercedes that would be a close one to pick if money was not a factor.

Pretty sure we'll never see any official lap times for his Hellcat run. Seriously doubt it was a sanctioned attempt.

Ive always been a Porsche guy, but I agree with you that the Mercedes is quite appealing. I dont think I could do the Kermit green so many of them seem to be painted though. I prefer black or silver.

I'm surprised it's that high!
