Yes that's a good call. Looks good in the catalog, but too bad we can see actual pics of one just yet.

For those that don’t like the new ‘19 tail lights, wonder if the “old” 17-18’s would fit? Could go with either the stock red or 1le dark.

At that point why don't you reach out and find a 17 or 18 model at a discounted price?

Unless there is something else really cool that the 19 added anyway...

I think NFG is gone for 19, and replaced with a few other gray variants.
Yes, I see the taillights are the new "in thing" in lights. Toyota, Nissan, Honda, GM, etc are using the "BugEye" look in lights on all corners. I think it is just an evolution, not revolution.

Rethink the M6. Car don't launch for shit and GM is not fixing it.
I LOVE sticks but had I known about how bad the M6 was, I would have gotten the A10.

Just pondering the idea of selling my z06 and ordering a 19’, have you gotten any pricing yet? Curious what dealers are taking off sticker now.

Really? Do elaborate. Is this a known issue?

Yes M6 only, not A10. M6 bog is very well known issue around these parts. It's part of the torque management system protecting the car from the driver. To much clutch too fast and you hit the upper torque limit and the car bogs to protect the driveline from you breaking it. Too little and the car bogs to protect the clutch from you burning it up. Yes this is the main reason why Chevy will honor the warranty at the track (Dodge and Ford do not). And No, nobody has been able to "tune" out the torque management yet.

First result from Google search "camaro6 zl1 m6 bog issue" is pretty good; there are dozens of threads on this:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=505106

It was brought up to (and answered by) Al Oppenheiser, chief engineer of Camaro.

"ask Al" answer thread...
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=520373
...where he answers "you're doing it wrong"... and yes unless you're REALLY good with your feet, you'll be doing it wrong too and bog the car.

Just get the A10 and be happy. It kicks ass.

Only with a bumper (and probably diffuser) change to go with. The plastic around the tail lights is different.

There's a big "nose" between the "goggles" on the 2019 that isn't there on the 2017-18.

I just sold my 2016 Mustang GT that I had Procharged and am looking to order a ZL1 this week. I have a neighbor who works for GM get one, and after driving it for a half hour I think the ZL1 is an upgrade in every way over the Mustang. The Mustang was a great project but I’m ready to move on to something more ‘complete.’ (I thought about the GT350, but I don’t think it’s much of an upgrade over a Procharged GT Performance Pack.)

Just torn on color right now. Cannot decide between NFG, Red Hot or Summit White. I know there are some new colors for 19, but really haven’t dug into those yet.

Leaning towards 6MT, as this is not a daily driver and just a fun second car for me. The active rev matching sets it apart from a regular 6MT for sure.

Just wanted to say hi to y’all. Any ordering tips I should know about? All I’m looking at option-wise is the PDR and carbon hood insert.
Just so you know the ZL1 as with the SS M6 has a built in bog. I is not so easy to even get into the 11s. After owning my last 6 Camaros and 1 Firebird with M6es I went A10 this time. It was a good move. It is 90% as much fun and a more enjoyable car for cruising by far. And a .5 second faster 1/4 doesn't hurt.

I love the sunroof on gen 6 Camaros (still room for a helmet) and the Carbon hood and PDR are both must haves IMO.

How are the paddle shifters? Reasonably quick?
