Children as young and younger than 5 yo are killed by drunk drivers all the time. So why is alcohol not on the chopping block?

I'd WAY quicker give up the alcohol than my guns.

BTW, they sell beer 24 in a box. Maybe they should limit that to 6.

After all, it's the alcohol killing people on the roads, not the drunk people driving right?

I know you Randy. You could never limit yourself to 6!

Could you imagine the beer hoarding?

Would there be a grandfather clause on high-capacity drinkware?

Any New Yorkers with "assault rifles" or high-capacity mags want me to keep them safe until cooler heads prevail? I swear to take excellent care of your property in the meantime

I'm holding my breath that someone will overturn this...or bring suit...what a load of crap. Believe it or not, I was fine with what laws were in place...they didn't limit too much. All they did was "lower the bar" on that law...without any apparent logic behind the moves.

It appears to be nothing more than a ploy and soundbite to get into the news.

Actually very sad. Has my life changed? No, I suppose not...but I feel like my hand was just slapped for something someone else just did...

It's a slow and careful change, and it started almost 100 years ago with regulation of firearms. I'm not wearing my tinfoil hat... but it's right next to me on the nightstand. That is a blatent violation for 2A, and NY'ers shouldn't be putting up with it.
