easier to start with a v8 car,, you would have so much money tied up in harness/ computers, transmission, radiator, a/c compressor and components, not worth the hassle

Trade it in for a V8? You can do headers, exhuast, intake, cam and tune. Or just supercharge it or turbo it.

easiest thing for me to do with spending the least amount of money = no noticable power gain

not really any v6 parts out yet, so why not get your own custom parts made,, get a quality fab shop to make you a set of stainless headers and a x-pipe but this will cost you $1800+ , look into t/b porting/ polishing

remove the heads and get them ported/ polished

nothing will be cheap

And the reason you purchased a v6 was????
Your not making any sense here. Unless you came into some cash after you got the v6 then I don't understand why your willing to dump money into the v6. You couldn't possible think you could do an engine change for less than the original cost of the v8.

I totally understand.

I cant wait for someone to throw a cam'd LS1 in there. Having a V6 car also gets you cheaper insurance, although your swaped motor wouldnt be covered.

Cheapest and easiest for the most power gain would be to trade it in for a v8. Sorry, but thats the truth. If your talking $ per HP.

I purchased the 2LT for a few reasons. Strapped for cash, insurance, and I will still smoke the new 2010 GT Mustang V8.

Quick question for SSuperman up there, I am already doing exhaust, intake and header, but have yet to find a cam and I have heard that they cannot tune the v6 ecu yet, have you heard or seen anything and can you point me in the right direction? Thanks

By the way I ordered my Camaro Oct 13th and only put $1000 down, payments are $532 and my full coverage insurance is $80 a month.

2011 thats all going to come to an end. There getting a 400 hp motor next year. Better hope some mods start coming out your going to be behind for a while. Its all good though ill rather lose in the camaro then win in the average looking mustang everyone and there dog owns.
