I went to the dealer and they said it's normal. There's a plastic tray that catches the overflow and drains out separately. Still strange that no one else is having this problem, but I've got 3 years of warranty for it to become an issue. I just hope I never have to cross that bridge.

I'm no expert, but I think the car shouldn't be holding water. It may drain separately, but it sounds like it's not draining quickly, which may mean it's partially blocked.

I know this thread is old, however, it is normal right after washing to hear the sloshing of water. I have a 2013 vert, and I noticed it after every wash. you wash the car, water is on it, it has to drain into the bags, the bags will drain eventually. if 3 hours later you still hear it, then there is a problem. my gf has a 96 Sebring vert, and it does the same thing immediately after washing . you can hear sloshing.
so, I thnk its normal.

Interesting. Why is it designed to have water go into bags, instead of directly exiting the car?

Thanks. Good to know I'm not the only one. I still find it troubling that I only hear it on one side and that my '14 didn't do that. Time will tell.

Yeah, the following thread has good insight.

The water management bag has drains in the rear wheel wells. Take a look and you will see them, they are pretty easy to spot. They can get clogged up. You can take a wire and run it up the drain to see if water runs out. This happened to me when one spring the tree seeds were on my car and washed in to the water management bag.

If I can ask, you say you can see the drain lines via the wheel wells, any chance you can describe the general location of these lines in the wheel wells? 3 years ago I purchased a 2011 vert which obviously qualifies it for the potential top problems. I rarely drive it when it's raining but I am planning a Route 66 trip this May and I'd sure like not to have water management bag problems if and when it might rain.

Thanks

I have a 2015 vert and leak with mildew passenger rear carpet area. Professionally cleaned, comes back everytime it's washed. Trying to figure out next step.

Can you see any water trail signs on the plastic molding? There is a door seal inside that may be leaking.

I have had no issues with the Flash.

As I wrote in a previous post, there is a TSB for this, known issue with a seal in the door.
