Okay I have a update. I had a collapsed lifter... so they were just going to replace all of them. the car should be done today but I am away till Monday so I will pick it up Monday looking forward to it..

I installed new headers from tsp and even gotten a e86 tune but now im having misfires... replaced the wires and plugs... haven't replaced the coils yet tho...

Misfire(s) as in more than 1 cylinder like a P0300?

Did the dealer speculate as to why the collapsed lifter occurred? zDefective part maybe? Just sounds so strange for something like that.

GM's AFM lifters have been prone to failure for years, it's not surprising they haven't found or fixed the issue yet. I've heard the failure is usually due to oil starvation, but I'm not sure the root cause.

What really sucks is now we M6 folks get to deal with them too, despite the fact that we don't have AFM. They just wanted to avoid the LS3/L99 snafu they had last gen I suppose.
