Team Camaro @ Milwaukee Mile

Camaros were running fast at the Milwaukee Mile on Thursday. Fast 1LE, Z/28 and RS. There was another 1LE and a ZL1 running as well. The three pictured are all cars of forum members.

What event/club was this with...just curious. Also curious why the Z/28 is missing the front splitter?

Looks like a fun time. I'll need to put the Milwaukee mile on my list of venues to do an event at next year.

It is with the Milwaukee region of the SCCA. There is an abrupt pavement change from the infield to the oval track and I was playing it safe by removing the splitter rather than risk damage.

Ahh. Good call then to protect the splitter. That's the one thing about doing autocrosses on the circle tracks too that I don't like is the steep angle changes from infield to the oval track.

The Z/28 looks so naked without the front splitter though. But i know it was done for the right reasons!

It might not have been necessary, but I did not want to add a new splitter to the cost of the day. They run 6 or so events there per year, well organized and very fun. I hope you make it out next year.
