battery tender
Was wondering if I can connect battery tender under hood to positive connecter, or must I connect direct to battery in the trunk ? I think under hood is easier , but is it safe ?

Yes you can I been doing mine that way for over a year with no problems

If you hook to a ground which goes directly to the battery and connect to the battery post under the hood which goes directly to the battery then you cannot hurt relay's. Just the same as connecting directly on the battery. Just common logic.

Hook it directly to the battery, and then run the plug out the bottom of the trunk through a slit in the rubber drain plug. That way you don't have to open the hood every time.

What ground under the hood goes directly to battery ? I was thinking of using bolt holding air box.

I've connected to the auxillery post in both Camaros for years, and it will not harm anything. In fact, I added an extension so that I can connect the power cable to the tender cable lead without opening the hood.
