Just cracked 48000 miles in my '13' LFX, absolutely no issues with engine or driveline, or the entire car for that matter... Love this car, has to be my all time favorite vehicle I have ever owned...
Very seriously looking to upgrade to a '13' ZL-1 if I can find the right one with low miles for a decent price!!!

I have a 2012 and it has 147748. Ovisously its my DD. I do my own oil changes, but besides replacing my rotors on the front, I have had no issues.

Well besides the paint, can't stand the shitty paint Chevy uses.

Thank the EPA for making our lives more miserable.

If it were the EPA's fault, all vehicles would have the same paint quality.

They do.

I'm kind of curious as to why you're so interested in the durability of the LLT v. LFX since you have a V8? I'd of thought you'd be more interested in the durability of your L99 v. the LS3. Perhaps you're thinking of trading in your L99 for a more fuel efficient V6 that doesn't suffer from cylinder deactivation?

I wish to have a V6 manual to replace my daily driver. I wanted a 2011, because of the steering wheel, but what I read about the LLT was concerning. I'm now considering a 2013-15 Camaro 1LS or 2015-17 Mustang V6.
The tune on my L99 immediately took care of the AFM & added nice extras.

What part of the story am I missing?

You had the AFM tuned out of your V8 and now it is too expensive to drive on a daily basis? So you are willing to spend ~$20,000 to buy a more fuel efficient vehicle?

I drive my '15 2SS/RS convertible Commemorative Edition on sunny days & road trips. I already have another vehicle that's a daily driver. It's the other vehicle that I wish to replace with a V6 6M. I'm seeing the Camaro & Mustang models mentioned for well under $20k.

Interesting idea - are you looking for a beater, something pristine, or something in between? A bare bones LS, a 1LT or more luxurious 2LT? I just searched autotrader and there are 31 V6 manual 5th gens for sale within 100 miles of me and they are all under $20K, in fact there's only one over $19K (a low miles '15 with NPP). If it were me I'd try to find a RS with sunroof in one of the rarer colors like orange or synergy green. Good luck!
