Spent the weekend trying out my new quickjacks and installing my GM gen 2 skirts. Thanks to members who helped my track down install instructions for these!
I never would have figured the install out on my own, so many rivets, adhesives, primers! lol Last edited by Nothing like an SS; 03-22-2021 at 02:11 PM. |

Do the quick jacks require a perfectly flat, level floor or can there be a little grade to it? My garage floor is graded from all corners inward toward the center just slightly for the center floor drain.

They are about 75" long, so see how much grade you have over that distance maybe? If they would be fairly level then you should be good. 75" piece of lumber see how much would lose contact? |

I have absolutely no upholstery talent but was somehow able to put together two seat belt stalk covers with black leather vinyl I had laying around. Cost nothing but an hour of time compared to the $75 RedlineGoods wanted.
Before and after.

Let us know how you like those tires. Planning on those for my second set, I have spare wheels, just deciding what tire to run when I am not running GYSC3s, like when very rainy! lol

It looks like the jack points are way up inside a piece of bodywork, and the rubber blocks that mine came with may not be enough on their own. |

Is that the SLX 5000? Looks like you used the rear and center loft points. Was it sturdy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Even the EXT cannot reach the two furthest points, so rear and just under the door, works fine. Car can go on in either direction. As crazy as it sounds, I can also use it to lift the 1991 Miata by going across the car side to side rather than under the rails. It is safe to do so, Quickjack even has a video to use it that way! Very versatile, should have bought these years ago! |
