I just added a Kong 2650 to my ZL1 and had it tuned by Jannetty. Before I had
the stock 1900 with Ted's 125 package plus dsx flex fuel sensor, aux pump and 9.55 (23%) pulley. I had about 13-14 psi. I ran 10.8s at 131. After the adding the 2650, I went to a 3.5 upper (stock is 3) and went to a dsx 9.06 lower. A lot less pulley than on the 1900. I hit almost 17 psi with the 2650. It has been really hot in Iowa. With cooler weather I might be higher than 17. I have not been back to the track yet.

What did she make more power wise from the old set up?

I have a ZR1 with the 2650 so not apples to apples. I went with the smallest (2.4) pulley. I flatline the kpa at 255 which is 23.x lbs.

I should be making 1050whp or so. Everyone adding a 2650 to their ZR1 seems to be adding at least 130whp even going with a bigger pulley than the OEM blower (e.g. going from a 2.35 LS9 to a 2.625 2650 pulley).

Car is actually apart at the moment so I haven't had a chance to dyno it.

A good thing about the Kong 2650 is it is already max effort. There is no porting to do to it. It won't gain anything and will only void the warranty.

Damn that's interesting. Mine is a stock lsa engine with headers only right now. Stock LSA crank pulley and I went with the 3" pulley. Wonder how much boost it will make?

With the pulley change I made, I effectively went from a 23% overdrive
on the 1900, to a 5% on the 2650. And gained 3-4 psi. I would think you
would be around 14-15?

Look at the chart I posted above.

A 3.0 upper pulley with a 7.95 lower pulley, would be a 2% overdrive
on the 2650 and the equivalent of a 42% overdrive(approximately a 2.55 upper/9.55 lower) for psi on the 1900. I think the
stock lsa balancer is 7.8, so it would be close to this.

With the equivalent of 42% overdrive on a 1900, that's a LOT of air to try to stuff through the stock valve events... you'll have lots of "boost"... and by "boost", I mean heat. Get a cam in that sucker and a 3.5" pulley.

My ait2 has been the same or slightly less than when I had the 1900, even though I have more boost. Before I add a cam I need to see what my times are at the track. I don't want to go below a 10.00 or I will have to add a cage, etc.
