DIC oil life dropping quickly?

Oil changed 11/4/2013 with 20k on the car currently with 23k oil life is showing 30%, normaly we go our normal 5k oil changes and have 40-50% left on the DIC but currently at 3k and 30%? I reset the DIC at the oil change so I know that wasnt the issue any one else have this issue?

It isn't just based on miles. There is many factors in it. Style of driving, stop and go vs highway etc.

Has your driving style changed? Are you either running it harder than before or have you been driving mostly in city traffic?

Well is the wify's daily driver and currently we are not in autocross season so I would think this oil change has had it easy, maybe more remote start time/ cold idle with the very cold winter, it just seemed very quick this time around

Remote start and warming it up can reduce your oil life faster, also short trips can have an effect on it.

I auto start my car every day, sometimes twice in the morning. I get around 6000 miles if I go by the Oil Life Indicator, I never let it get below 25%, 4500 miles is my limit.

I said can, not will. Anyway he has a V6 which has a complete different logrithim to figure oil life than your car does so you really cannot compare what you get with what he does.
