Be sure to make a backup of any apps you rely on!

My turn...
If you use an Apple device with your NightOwl system, and you know how to connect to the Master and still be able to use your data connection, please post it. I never downloaded the original info as I didn't have Apple products. |

Wiring Question
Need to power up my Bluetooth controller via the Halo power wires. Does anyone know the wire color on the input plug at the headlight housing? (need both sides)
While we are on the subject, I need the projector 12 volt wire as well to turn off my demon eyes when headlights are on. Everything is installed & tested, just need to power up.

So close...
Halo: L: Purple, R: ??? Low Beam: L: Yellow, R: Tan/White You can figure out the missing one easily. Note where the purple wire is on the left side, then look at that position on the right side. |

edit: Worked like a charm. Both halo wires are on the bottom pin 4. I'm running both halos and both demon eyes off one controller so I wanted the current supply fed from both (diode isolated of course).

miniHP or regular HP?
The HP has a button inside to initiate pairing. All mini's need to be unpaired from the Master first. Only then can they be added to a new system. The really bad part... If it's currently paired, it needs to be connected with the previous Master and unpaired via the app if that option exists for the version of mini you have. The older minis do not have the option. |

I recently got a new phone. The api for the nightowl app is readily available for Android. My only issue at this point is connecting the app to the controller now. Before you would settings > systems > + > input unique controller number > restore backup.
I was under the impression that you would always be able to reconnect apps to the controller, but you just wouldn't be able to pull down already made programs created via another previously connected app/phone. You would just need to remake your programs. That doesn't seem like the case here. Now that the backup/restore server is offline, how do you reconnect apps to the module? When I connect the new phone to the nightowl wifi and have the system added, it does not connect to the module. Any ideas? |

You should be able to do all of the above except for Restore. Hopefully your Master is not scrambled.
It's not always getting power, is it? |

Obviously both can't control at the same time since it's a one for one wifi connection. Just curious. |
