twin turbo ss vs. late model porsche turbo
this past weekend i raced a late model (one with the LED headlights) from 60-160 on a undisclosed closed course in northern michigan. he jumped me on the start and got ahead about a length, and then i walked up in the last 1/3 and finished dead even. it was awesome keeping up with a $150k supercar!!!
if it were from a dig i would have been hosed by his awd grip, but from a roll it was game on! not sure what my total vehicle weight was, but i'm pretty sure that porsche makes 500hp and weighs around 3675 with the driver in it. i'd guess my car was around 4100 as i'm a 210lb dude and had some stuff in my trunk. maybe he had a bad shift? sucks to be him! gotta take the small victories in life when we can, right? my car makes ~545rwhp and 560tq these days and i love it to death, but man, that turbo porsche is one sick ride! |

I don't feel too sorry for him, dude.
That's an accomplishment keeping with a Turbo, though, no doubt. |

Your car sounds like a beast OP. But a 60-160mph race, not a bright move
As for it being done on a "closed course" and you don't even know what kind of Porsche you raced.... |
