Nice!
I was unaware that Ed Brown had released the Chain Link patern to anyone else, last time I checked it was a proprietary design.

Thanks! In regards to the chain link...it's been around a while. Not sure if he was first, but my understanding is that Richard Heinie has been using them a long time, though I believe he calls them scallops. Nighthawk partnered with Heinie to build custom models to his spec.

It's also used by Kimber, Dan Wesson, STI and I'm sure many others.

After 15 months waiting, I got my DPMS Recon in 7.62 today. It's pretty neat!

My best group ever was 5 shot at 100 yards for .566"
I'll post a pic here in a second I jut gotta go take a picture of the target lol. For some reason I deleted the one I had.
Load makeup was
155gr lapua senar
44.5gr varget
2.810" overall cartridge length
Lapua brass
Cci 210m primers

Edit: that load I shoot consistantly sub .6" groups and 100y but I can't afford to shoot that expensive of a load all of the time so I normally shoot
178gr hornady amaxes
43.5gr IMR 4064
FC match brass
Cci 210m primers
2.810" overall length

These shoot .8" groups repeatedly.

Nice shooting.

Not to brag, but my best group ever was a 0.10 group at 100 yards.
Granted I was shooting an Accuracy International AW,
175 Gr BTHP Sierra Matchking
And I was a professional sniper for the feds at the time.
Honestly, at first I couldn't believe it, actually had to measure from the back side of the target.

Same day I also shot a 1 inch group at 300 yards with the wind at full value.
This was shooting handloads from a custom built Surgeon rifle.
it was 175 Gr BTHP Sierra Match King, with Rem match brass, 45 gr Varget, and the ogive set to only 5/1000 of an inch.

AI rifles are just pieces of art. As are surgeons.. I'm just to poor to own one lol....
That's great shooting! I love the 175gr SMKs in my gun but finding those is like finding a unicorns left nut lately.

Nice shooting at 300! Best group I've had at distance was 1.38" at 325y but the wind call was less than 7mph at 1/4 value.
