Figured since gears and ZL1 pump will be being done IF I'm going to do something to upgrade the rear suspension this would be the time.
In that case just do cradle bushing inserts. I am also in agreement that suspension mods probably do very little for the L99 cars that do high 10's/125mph traps or slower. A great wheel/tire setup with a drag alignment is the most important mod.

Do you think that changes with mid 10's and 130ish?

I'll be running the Hoosier slicks on welds with skinnies up front..

Well, people have gone sub 1.5 60fts with a stock L99 suspension, higher stall torque converter, slicks and skinnies. Other than the cradle inserts I would make sure the suspension money is spent elsewhere. If its your last mods and your looking for every tenth and hundredth then okay. If you achieve a 1.50 60ft with your set up I would be really surprised if you did all other suspension mods and it resulted in more than a .05 60ft reduction. Just need to ask yourself what that kind of gain is worth. If your not getting wheel hop and you have a drag alignment I'm just not sure how much throwing the suspension book at it will help. For someone like me who still likes a quiet and smooth ride that tiny gain is not worth it. Guy I know of threw the suspension book at his M6. Well that car is not very pleasant to drive with these Oklahoma roads. Granted the M6 needs to do that for good 60fts and no wheel hop but man will that car beat you up.

H-E, I doubt Farks has a front swaybar under their RS car now do they?

I'm not sure at what power level it makes sense to pull the front swaybar off a 5th gen, I'll contemplate it when I have problems hooking (after I'm going much faster).

In the 4th gen days we pulled them for better extension, and then after we got the cars going 9's and 8's and 7's we added travel limiters.

I have pics of the front end lift without my sway bar, works for me. My car is not super fast but it dead hooks on nto5rs, and pretty sure I will still dead hook on a low 11 pass when I get it. Removing one end link is a wast like some people do, take the hole thing off.

People also told me running a few gal of race gas makes no difference, some reason every time I did my car would run the 1/8th harder. This was only true untill I had the car retuned though. I try things to see what works for me, this works.

First pic is no sway. This pic has the sway. It does transfer weight better with no sway but for most racing on this forum you guys won't see that much of a difference.
