Looking for the answer to an odd question I thought of today:
What does the Camaro 5th gen horn sound like?

I hate horns that are wimpy sounding, but I also hate those that sound like a freight train! Have a 2LT on order, just curious and doubt my dealer wants me to come in and lay on their car horn in the showroom

my opinion...just go lay on the horn in the dealership

prob better then my grand am.. it sounds like i stuffed a towel in the horn and filled it with gas and lit it on fire.. i hope they sound good. if not go to a junk yard and get one from a f350 or something that actually sounds good and swap it in. 5 dollar swap.

Boy, I thought of this question myself. Out of the last four new cars I bought, two had nice sounding horns (86 El CAmino & 98 S10) the other two (89 Z24 & 07 Cobalt SS) had horns that really sounded terrible. Neither were dual hi/lo units and hopefully, the Camaro has them rather than just a single unit.

I tried this out just today. The horn is solid and loud but not to loud, Sorry no sound clip, I didn't think if it and did not have any recording equipment with me anyway.

I'm glad to hear that I wasn't the only one wondering! I want my horn to say "Get out of my way!", not "sorry my bad". I wouldn't take it off the lot till the dealer fixed it if it played a song

i think i have a vid of vin 1 when they hit the unlock button and it beeped on the unlock. Ill see if i can find it.
