I'd say it's more likely a fake SS badge than an SS with a V-6 front bumper cover and the V-6 exhaust tips.
I noticed this at a car show this weekend. The diameter of the stock exhaust tips for the V6 is 2.5" whereas the stock exhaust tips for the V8 is 3".
