Is it worth upgrading from 9500ix to redline?

How happy are you guys with the redline?

Very happy. It's a fantastic detector.

I had the 9500ci and upgraded to the PassportMAX.

My wife has the Redline.

Both are great detectors. I prefer the PassportMAX because of the auto-learn feature. Because of this, it is much "quieter" when driving past shopping centers.

I have the Max 2, had it for about a month now.

I haven't ran into any interstate threats as of yet. It has good range on in car radar as thats all I've experienced so far. I went with it over the redline due to the auto learn feature with the GPS and its quite nice to have.

It still falses some but its WAY quieter than my old detector.

Buy it and try it out. You have the 30 day test drive directly from Escort so give it a shot.
