Gears and Converter
Just got my car back from IPS Motorsports after having 373 gears and a 2800 stall put in. It has made a night and day difference to how the car performed. It finally feels like im using all the power the car came with. Going to get it to the track this Sunday to see what kind of time i can get. Wish me luck I finally have that permagrin feeling!

make sure your gears are broken in before you go to the track.

first gear goes quick. if i would have had a manual....i would have hit the limiter. it took me by suprise to say the least. i couldnt imagine 410's.

With a good trans tune that takes out torque management you will have a car that feels like a big block.

just got back from the track today. only got two runs. 12.70 at 108 with a 1.79 60ft. and a 12.63 at 108 with a 1.73 60ft.. it feels real good and im thinking i can get a 12.5x with a bit better launch.

yes i have been more than pleased with the performance. i was launching around 2200 but now i think i will take it up a bit. i really think i can get a 12.5x out of it. thanks again to the guys at ips!
