West Texas Rod Run

West Texas Rod Run in Big Sprin is coming up again... Labor Day weekend every year.

http://www.earlycar.com/

This is the olderst continuous rod run in Texas. I've been the past two years and plan to go again this year. There are evrything from old hot rods to new Camaros - mostly old hot rods. A ticket to the show gets you some BBQ and there are quite a few drawings for some goodies. There is also a police escorted cruise through town and up on Scenic Mountain. No pre-registration necessary.

Hope to see some people there! I'm not sure if I'm bringing my Camaro or my son's 92 Firebird ......... maybe we'll bring both!!!!

8 hrs for me too. I'm in Houston as well.
But it's home for me and I get to see family, too. So I try to make this trip every year. I don't get to cruise very often.

Yeah, it's confirmed, I will be there at about 10am or so, will hang out for a little while, then its back to the house to get ready for work. I hope to see you and meet you there. I should have the only orange ZL1 there, well, I have the only ZL1 in town, so I shouldn't be hard to find.

Cool. I'll be there earlier so look for the red 92 Firebird. Not sure if I'm taking my Camaro too or not, but will definitely have the Firebird. Look forward to meeting you.
