It is quite the challenge to drive over seas. I still have my Japanese drivers license and it was a pain to take the written test. All the street signs are in Japanese and I had to memorize the last few characters on a couple of them as they have bus only, bus priority, and bus at certain time lanes and they are all written in Japanese. The only difference is the last few characters.
If you are the first in line at a light at night you have to dim your headlights, the steering wheel is on the right side and the shifter is on your left side. Fun fun, not to mention the little micro crotch rockets racing around through traffic. And on Okinawa where I was for a while they have 18" curbs because of all the rain they get.

I was in Pusan in 1956-1957(Army) and it sure didn't look like that. There weren't any cars like that there then either. What a difference 57 years make.

There's only one car per lane. They can usually fit a lot more than that across there. Like in Boston

Bet it is owned by a military member stationed there. Was that in Seoul. When I was there in 2008 a Soldier on Yongsan had a vette.

I just came back from there after a 3 year tour!!! It was 3 years of torture not having my car, but it was worth it not having Koreans try to kill it.
