Someone attempted to log in under my name on C7 forum - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I just got notified that someone attempted to log in under my username 5 times.
Here is the Email I got.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 96.44.189.101

I am posting this here because if it was attempted in that forum it may be attempted here also.

this is a normal thing on the internets, don't be worried, just make sure to always have a strong password and NEVER use the same passwords with other accounts. If one password gets hacked all your accounts could be compromised

1234 is not good?

It's a usual thing. Like others have said, use a good password but be ready to act if/when your stuff gets hacked. It's unreal people think the future is all online apps and all this stuff when it's going to get all jammed up.

I used to run a pretty popular blog and if I got hassle from folks I would pay the "brats" at the MIT labs to this kind of work for me. It was not expensive. Those nuts can find anyone and anywhere, given proper motivation. Was revealing.
