Experts; Questions about my new 2LT Camaro

Hi everyone. Just got a 2012 2LT Camaro, well its new to me. It only had 3800 miles on it, so it was practically new. I will try to post a picture of it, but I had several questions about it. The dealer I bought it from was a Kia dealership and the salesman was clueless about it for the most part. All I know is that it is a 2LT NOT the RS package, but I am not sure which package it is.

First off, I think I got a heck of a deal, but tell me your opinions. I got it for $25K. They gave me $15K as a trade in for my 2009 H3 Hummer, with 80K miles so all in all I felt like I got a great deal, I have seen much higher mileage ones going for $28K all the way up to the lower 30s. But would like your opinion on this.

Also, what package exactly do I have, or put another way, what else was available that I do not have as far as trim packages go? I will tell you what I do have on it.

1) Leather steering wheel; 2) Aluminum wheels; 3) Rear camera that appears in rear view mirror; 4) XM Satellite radio. Those are the major obvious features.

I do NOT have leather seats, nor do I have the extra 4 gauges that would be in the change dish area.

Also one last important thing, it had an extra large wing/spoiler on the back. Does anyone know about this? Did the previous owner have to special order this with it? I have not seen a single camaro in my town with this spoiler on it. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm....I'm definitely no expert, but I thought the 2LT would be leather, (1LT would be cloth)....

Same here...

The spoiler looks like the tall one GM offers, my guess is it was custom ordered. I think it's ugly so I haven't paid much attention to it so maybe someone else could help.

BTW, all GM cars come from the factory now with XM radio, it's no longer an "option"

Yes this is one question I have with it. I was told the RS package is the leather seats, but this is one question I had. I was wondering if I actually had the 1 LT, I took it to another chevy dealer in town, (same owner) to ask a few questions, he did say I had the 2LT, but was also clueless as to some of the other questions.

So you no longer have to pay any type of monthly fee for the XM radio? I was wondering about that? Its just standard and permanent?

You still have to pay for XM's service but the receiver itself is included in all GM cars now from factory

You still have to pay an XM subscription, but the equipment to receive the signal is standard, not optional. The service is optional, the equipment is not.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Post your VIN. One of the experts on here can decode it for you to tell you exactly what your car is.

You have a 1LT Non-RS car with the high wing spoiler option. The spoiler is an option fron GM.

1LT- Cloth seats , no 4 pack gauge
2LT- Leather seats and 4 pack gauges

RS- HID Headlamps and 20 inch wheels are the main additions.

You do not have a 2LT , that much is definite.
