If I were in Whammo's shoes, perhaps I too would feel slightly "violated" that my words were chosen to demonstrate graphically, that the purported defective and/or weak parts, were being used out of context, in an explanation, in order to divert the problem at hand through sympathy of bang if the buck value catch phrase, deliberately or indeliberately being insignificant. Man what a long sentence, lol. Whether the said weak parts were used in a 4000 pound Yugo or a 4000 pound Mercedes Flag Ship, makes no difference to me, fact is, they are indeed, on trial, until further notice .

Use your own word next time, it seems you are pretty good at it and do not need someone else post as a base for your essay about the subject.

IIRC you went with the 28lb flywheel. How does it rev, quicker? Same? I would think its quite a bit faster with the revs since the 9 in clutch should reduce the MOI significantly.

I'm a little suprized by that. Woulda figured it would rev quicker. I suppose with the 28 lb flywheel it's not much different in total weight from the OEM.

Replacing the clutch system today and found that I've had a pretty significant exhaust leak. Frame rail is blackend by it.

Exhaust is completely stock and the car is at less than 10k in miles.

Am I wrong or is it on header, right by the steering column? Wow, that's not good for the engine. Himm, a pair of headers could fix that leak : )

I don't see a point in contacting a dealership about it, at this point there more of a hassle than anything. Headers would be nice and I was going to do that but the clutch issue has pretty much soaked up my mod budget.

Is it really that bad for the engine, that little leak?
