A lot of us are bringing grills for late night munchies after the sponsored dinner at the track..

The mall is close too, tone so food places around. I don't know when somone would have the time to go to them though. Friday night meet and greet is held in the Hotel's Bar and Lounge that is attached and they have great food. Saturday food is covered at the track for drivers and Sunday is awards breakfast

We will start discussing the 2011 Fest In October of 2010

We are taking 300 drivers maybe more, we are working on the logistics of that. We want everyone to have enough track time..not just two passes..so as soon as we get a little over 300 drivers we are shutting it down for the driving portions. As many spectators can come as they want. The list is at 270Plus now but "garcmol" is going through it to see how many of those are actually going to get on the track.

There will be plenty to do even if you don't drive. If my car isn't supercharged by then I won't be taking it either..... just an idea.
Good idea on him flying out. Bad idea on not bringing your car without a supercharger. You could still bracket race or autoX without a supercharger.

I was absolutely AMAZED when Angelina and I went to Oshawa in October. ALL of our 'girl stuff' and her cleaning supplies fit nicely in the trunk.

Lots of room!

lol nah born in november- but my last name is april - lol
but like i said i made that drive once dont wanna put that many more miles on it-as is its already away for the winter

This is off of the host hotel (Holiday Inn Conference Center). I don't know exactly how the Kids Eat Free piece work, but it's on the website. Call for details.

Hotel Dining

Room Service Available 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM
1 Restaurants In or Nearby the Hotel
Kids Eat Free

Bars / Lounges Azalea's Lounge
Location: In Hotel - Inside Hotel, Off the Lobby After a day of meetings or sightseeing, why not enjoy your favorite beverage or cocktail in the lounge of our hotel in Valdosta? It offers you an inviting oasis in which to enjoy a drink and catch the game on the large flat screen TV.

Restaurants Azalea's
Location: In Hotel - Adjacent to hotel lobby.
Serves: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Features a delicious menu featuring regional specialties like Southern fried chicken and a fabulous Sunday Brunch.

Here's a sampling of some restaurants in Valdosta, GA. There are a lot more there! I don't know what to look for on the specialty side, i.e. non-gluten (?) Couldn't get a solid restaurant hit, just health food stores in the local area.

From what Junkie has said this parking lot is huge! It's a convention center. I have not seen it for myself but he said we should have plenty of room AND there is security too.
