The 2018 LT1 and LT4 also shared the same evaporative family.

There's another ID on the first page of the document, the Test Group, and last year the LT1 was JGMXV06.2090 and the LT4 was JGMXV06.2089.

This 2019 document lists KGMXV06.2090, so that leads me to believe it is the LT1.

This is the most likely scenario.

When’s the next completely random morning show GM will reveal the car at?

The CTS-V and Camaro evap family starts out with JGM, the corrected document for the Camaro evap family starts out with KGM meaning maybe NA is in a different evap family??.

Yet another reason to ask Al the A8 shudder question next. There has to be a way to fix these issues, hopefully without a class action suit or major loss of goodwill. I don't want 10 gears (frankly, 8 is already a bit overkill), just some kind of assurance that the transmission will be usable beyond the warranty period. Oh, and of course who wants to keep taking it to the dealer even for warranty work.

Considering the excellent responses so far in the Ask Al section, this seems to be a great opportunity.

A10 makes far more sense than a M7.

In all likelihood, this board will be filled with posts decrying the A10 by this time next year. The A8 is a good transmission, shifts fast and performs really well under load. Heck, the 6 speed transmission in my 2016 silverado is rock solid and does everything I need it to. The A10...we all have our fingers crossed it will be a winner but the truth is we just don't know yet. These transmissions keep getting more and more gears, more parts, and continue to become more complicated. It's getting to a point of diminishing returns if you ask me.

Apparently the 10 speed won't fit in the Corvette from what I read. Like how the 7 speed won't fit in the Alpha products.

Im happy with my A8. I use my paddles a majority of the time anyways and would rather not have another 2 gears to shift through. 8 gears was already pushing it as it was.

Good stuff... The A10 is the best thing to happen to the Camaro in years

The only reason the Corvette does not have the A10 is because it does not fit! I can see the A10 being available in non '19 ZL1 Camaro's, especially because the '18 Mustang GT has it now!
