Better response? A clutch either holds or it doesn't. As long as the pedal take-up isn't annoyingly hard or sudden, what you're looking for is for it to feel about like stock but can also handle the higher level of power running through it without slipping.

Have you ever driven anything with a manual clutch? Not bashing you, just asking.

I haven't driven a lot of manual cars/trucks, but a clutch on a race dirtbike or fourwheeler is 2nd nature to me.

It is simply a way for the operator to manually control when forward motion is being used. The clutch plates use pressure, "biting" into each other to transfer power from the engine to the drivetrain.

Looks good! Hopefully this pans out because I am sure I'll be needing a new clutch sooner rather than later...

Any sort of speculative ballpark pricing on what something like this would cost?

We made a custom disk for our car. so far we have a couple other fi cars running them with no slip. used stock pressure plate and flywheel.

More aggressive disk helps and holds even with my 100 ply r888's on the track.

With this obviously being a better clutch than stock....I wonder how much weight will be shed with this new clutch..
