Recomended thicker oil in the rear diff? 2015 Camaro SS

Hello im currently on the stock fluid but my gaskets are leaking fluid on the rear diff. I am planning a full gear and new seals rebuild soon, but wanted to fill with a heavier oil to avoid quick leaks while I source the parts.

What is a good recomended rear diff fluid that is thicker than the norm to use?

Thank you.

You need a new gasket not an out of spec oil.

you need new axle seals...these diffs use synthetic due to tight clearances....I upgraded to Royal Purple...good luck!
